Holding Fast
We’ve all been there—a time when everything just seemed to go wrong, and we couldn’t seem to catch our breath. “Holding Fast” was completed at a particularly bad time in my life: I was dealing with the death of my only sibling and difficult decisions concerning a parent with dementia. My world seemed out of control. It was time when I was attempting to find people and things to ground me—something just to cling to. Like tree caught in a tornado I was finding it difficult just to hold on.
