Seeking Direction
âIt's a very slow process - two steps forward, one step back - but I'm inching in the right direction.â Rob Reiner
I always suspect that Iâve gone in the wrong directionâwhether with my painting or with my life. Yet I know that every experience is important and that often for every step forward we often go back. I have found that art is also like that. You often can only make progress by circling back to your original concept, back to where you began. The only way forward is to continue searching and learning in the process. This piece incorporates limestone paste, acrylic paint, collage, and pencil.
